Why Good upholstery Matters
Sun, salt, and hard use take a toll. Good upholstery doesn't have to show it.
Boat seating takes punishment that indoor furniture never does, UV, moisture, and temperature swings. When cushions flatten, fabric cracks, or seams start to go, you're not just dealing with a cosmetic problem. You're losing comfort and accelerating wear on everything around it.
Every upholstery job at Upper Falls Boat Works starts with a proper assessment of what your boat needs, not a catalog of options pushed at you. We build cushions and seating to fit your exact boat, using marine-grade materials chosen because they hold up, not because they look good on a swatch card.
Simple process. No surprises.
How It Works
Consultation & Material Selection
We look at your existing seating, talk through what's worn or working, and help you pick the right fabrics, foam, and finish for how you use the boat.
Fabrication
Every cushion is pattern-cut and built in-house, the right foam density, reinforced seams, moisture-resistant backing. No shortcuts.
Fitting & Review
We install and walk you through the finished work. If anything needs attention before we're done, we handle it.

What Our Customers Say
Carol W.
"We had the cockpit cushions replaced stem to stern on our 28' Grady-White. They measured everything in place, matched the original profile exactly, and the stitching is still perfect three years in."
"Our helm seat completely collapsed. They rebuilt it with a brand new frame and foam cushion and recovered it in a vinyl that's held up. The whole boat looks brand new."
"The finish details look factory made. We got piping and contrasting stitching. Better than factory, honestly."
